Thaw Canvas No. 2
This canvas was hand built with speckled buff clay and then hand painted with under glaze, finished with gold luster and fired to cone 6. The black flowers mimic that of Canvas #1, but they stand on their own with no framing. The edge of the canvas is adorned with a black checkered pattern. The whole piece is a beautiful combination of gold, brown, black and a muted white glossy glaze used for the background. 6.5”x8”x2” 1.7 lbs
